This position offers an exciting opportunity to support a dynamic planning team with out Client, working across all product categories with a primary focus on Women's Clothing, Women's Denim, and Footwear. The successful candidate will serve as a critical support resource for a small, collaborative team of four planners who partner closely with three buyers at any given time. This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and is eager to build a foundation in the buying and planning world. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and meeting tight deadlines. This position involves running reports, conducting ad-hoc analysis, supporting core projections and orders, and investigating operational discrepancies to ensure smooth planning operations across the business.
Responsibilities:
• Run regular and ad-hoc reports to support planning and buying decisions across all product categories
• Conduct analytical projects and investigations to support various business initiatives
• Investigate and resolve operational discrepancies in inventory planning and order management
• Support core projection processes and order documentation for the planning team
• Prepare and maintain ad-hoc documentation for planning activities and business reviews
• Collaborate closely with buying teams to ensure alignment on inventory planning strategies
• Utilize reporting software and tools to extract, analyze, and present data insights
• Assist with inventory planning activities across some of the largest categories including: Women's Clothing, Women's Denim and Footwear
• Support the team in managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting critical deadlines
• Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
Skills:
• Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills at all levels with the ability to present information professionally
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including vlookup and pivot tables
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new systems and processes quickly
• Professional maturity and ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment
Experience:
• 1-2 years of experience as an Assistant Planner or Assistant Buyer at a large retailer
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in retail planning, buying, or merchandise operations
• Experience in fashion corporate retail environment preferred
• Background working with inventory planning, reporting, and analysis
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Business, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, or Informatics preferred, but not required

The pay range that Tundra in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $18.66/hour - $21.15/hour.
