Position Summary

The Contract Talent Sourcer will support Talent Acquisition by proactively identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of high-performing passive talent for current and future hiring needs. This role partners closely with recruiters, hiring leaders, and broader TA stakeholders to develop marketplace sourcing strategies, execute targeted searches, and provide talent market insights that strengthen our ability to attract top talent.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with recruiters to develop effective marketplace recruitment strategies aligned to current and future hiring needs
  • Create and execute targeted sourcing searches, including identification of target industries, companies, professional associations, user groups, educational institutions, and other relevant talent channels
  • Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, talent databases, social platforms, referrals, associate networks, and other sourcing channels to identify passive talent
  • Build, maintain, and engage talent pipelines across assigned roles, functions, or projects
  • Conduct candidate outreach and engagement through email, InMail, phone, and other appropriate channels
  • Assess candidates for basic qualifications, role alignment, skills, experience, and potential fit with business needs
  • Maintain accurate candidate, pipeline, and sourcing activity records in Phenom CRM and other applicable recruiting systems
  • Collect marketplace intelligence, identify trends and patterns, and share actionable insights with recruiters and hiring stakeholders
  • Develop internal and external networks to support passive sourcing efforts and long-term talent community development
  • Support inclusive sourcing initiatives by identifying diverse and underrepresented talent pools aligned to business needs
  • Partner with other Talent Acquisition team members to coordinate sourcing strategies, share market insights, and create efficiencies across talent opportunities
  • Provide regular pipeline updates, sourcing reports, and market insights to recruiting partners and stakeholders


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in recruiting, sourcing, human resources, or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in recruiting and/or sourcing in a corporate or agency environment
  • Experience leveraging innovative sourcing techniques, benchmarking, LinkedIn Recruiter, and Boolean search to identify passive talent
  • Proven ability to create and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, candidates, and recruiting partners
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage passive candidates and represent opportunities professionally
  • Ability to work through ambiguity, adapt to changing priorities, and manage multiple searches or projects independently
  • Experience using ATS, CRM, or related recruiting technology; experience with Phenom CRM preferred


Preferred Qualifications

  • Proactive marketplace research and pipeline-building experience, including the ability to identify where building a bench of talent would benefit the organization
  • Demonstrated drive to find, engage, and connect with top talent using strategic channels and proactive sourcing techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to cultivate trust-based relationships with recruiters, hiring managers, candidates, and broader TA partners
  • Experience with market mapping, name generation, cold outreach, candidate attraction, and stakeholder management
  • Resourceful, and highly organized with the ability to manage details and complexity while remaining focused on the broader talent strategy
  • Goal driven, proactive, and comfortable working autonomously
  • Knowledge of employment law and hiring practices, including OFCCP requirements
  • Experience sourcing for commercial sales, technical, corporate, or other hard-to-fill roles
  • Knowledge of inclusive sourcing strategies, talent market mapping, and employer brand considerations

The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $38.09 - 43.09/hr USD.
