Analytical Scientist (Pharmaceutical R&D)

💲 $35–41/hour (W-2)

We're hiring an Analytical Scientist to support an innovative pharmaceutical R&D team focused on developing and characterizing next-generation drug formulations. This is a hands-on laboratory role for someone who enjoys analytical method development, solving complex scientific problems, and working independently in a collaborative research environment.

What You'll Do:

• Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods for drug formulations and solid-state materials.
• Perform characterization of peptides, small molecules, polymers, excipients, and other pharmaceutical materials.
• Design and execute laboratory experiments with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot analytical methods, instruments, and experimental challenges.
• Analyze data, document findings, and present results to cross-functional teams.
• Author technical reports, protocols, and SOPs while supporting product development activities.

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
• This position is not targeted toward PhD candidates.
• Strong hands-on wet lab experience.
• Proven analytical method development experience.
• Ability to independently design experiments and troubleshoot scientific challenges.
• Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Technical Experience:

• HPLC and chromatography techniques
• UV-Vis spectroscopy
• NMR spectroscopy
• Peptide characterization
• Stability and formulation characterization
• Experience with polymer characterization or API-excipient interaction studies is a plus
• Knowledge of GLP/GxP environments is beneficial
