What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Intelligence Engineer position at Tundra Technical Solutions?
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Engineer to support Amazon’s Robotics Supply Chain procurement team. This role is focused on building dashboards, automating reporting, and delivering data-driven insights to support a team managing a complex supplier network.
You will work closely with procurement stakeholders to track key metrics such as on-time delivery, vendor performance, and purchase order lifecycle, while building scalable reporting solutions and improving data workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain dashboards using QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI
- Write complex SQL queries to analyze large datasets
- Develop and support ETL pipelines and data models
- Automate recurring reports such as supplier scorecards and PO tracking
- Perform ad hoc analysis on spend, vendor performance, and operations
- Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Ensure data quality and improve reporting accuracy across datasets
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or similar
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or QuickSight
- Experience building dashboards and working with large datasets
- Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Haves:
- Experience in supply chain, procurement, or operations
- Familiarity with AWS tools such as QuickSight, Redshift, or S3
- Experience with ETL pipelines or data modeling
- Understanding of procurement metrics such as on-time delivery or vendor performance
