As the Senior Director, Global People Relations & HR Compliance, you will serve as a strategic leader reporting to the GVP, People Services & M&A. You will lead the People Consultant, Employee Relations, and Compliance organizations, globally fostering a positive workplace culture where people leaders and employees can do their best work.
You will develop and implement comprehensive people consulting and employee relations policies and processes that align with values, while ensuring proactive compliance with evolving legal requirements. This role is pivotal to driving business growth by navigating complex workforce issues with fairness, consistency, and sound judgment.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Strategic Leadership & Scalability
- Leading, scaling, and developing global employee relations, people consulting, and HR compliance teams across all sites and locations
- Establishing consistent global structures, standards, and processes, demonstrating the ability to manage at scale within a large enterprise
- Developing and executing a data-driven strategic roadmap to proactively address issues, mitigate risk, inform decision-making, and build global scale across all teams
- Leading complex organizational transformations and change initiatives, with expertise in change management methodologies
People Consulting & Employee Relations Oversight
- Providing strategic oversight and expert guidance to global People Consultants and Employee Relations teams
- Fostering consistent application of HR best practices and championing professional development through targeted training and quality frameworks
- Designing and delivering impactful training programs on best practices, policies, and procedures to enhance organizational capability
- Driving collaboration with Legal, Finance, HR Business Partners, Talent Development, and other key partners to ensure alignment
HR Compliance & Risk Management
- Designing and upholding comprehensive, legally sound policies, procedures, and guidelines, integrating robust risk management models
- Proactively monitoring evolving global legal and regulatory landscapes, ensuring policies and practices maintain compliance
- Building a Labor Relations and Compliance Center of Excellence to support global scale and consistency
About You
Basic Qualifications
- 12 years of progressive experience with deep subject matter expertise and leadership in Employee Relations, Human Resources, and Compliance
- Extensive global HR and Employee Relations experience, with a significant presence outside the Americas
- Expertise in HR compliance, including employment legislation, employment law, principles, policies, and procedures

- Employee Relationships: Experience building and maintaining respectful, trust-based relationships between employees and the organization, including expertise in addressing sensitive workplace matters with fairness, empathy, and consistency
- Performance Management: Ability to design, implement, and oversee performance management frameworks that promote accountability, continuous feedback, and professional growth, ensuring alignment between individual contributions and organizational objectives
- Stakeholder Management: Outstanding ability to build influential relationships with senior leadership (VP/GVP levels), effectively driving alignment, managing competing priorities, and facilitating engagement in decision-making processes across functions
- Labor and Employment Law: In-depth knowledge of federal, state, local, and international employment laws (e.g., EEOC, FLSA, ADA, FMLA), with the ability to proactively monitor evolving regulatory landscapes and ensure organizational compliance
- Talent Development: Experience identifying high-potential employees, developing leadership capabilities across teams, improving retention, and ensuring the organization has the talent to achieve its strategic goals through coaching, mentoring, and succession planning
- Previous HR Business Partner, People Consulting, ER Partner, or employment law experience
- Experience driving multi-region people consulting and employee relations strategy with diverse partners across Americas, APJ, and EMEA
- Experience creating consistent case management frameworks focused on quality, effectiveness, and reporting
- Demonstrated capability in strengthening team capabilities through curriculum development for quality outcomes, objectivity, and consistency
Salary : $165 - $195
