Tumbleweed Country Kennels is a full service boarding, day care, and grooming facility located a little south of Fountain, Colorado. We are seeking employees that will share our commitment to delivering the highest quality care to our pet guests and provide an exceptional client experience every time. Applicants must be very comfortable around animals (dogs, cats, and exotics), especially all dog sizes and be familiar with dog breed temperaments. All candidates must be able to work with various personalities. Operating hours are 6am to 7pm daily.
- MUST HAVE DEPENDABLE TRANSPORTATION.
- MUST BE ABLE AND WILLING TO WORK WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS AS THESE ARE OUR BUISIEST TIMES.
- APPLICANT MUST BE AT LEAST 16 YEARS OF AGE.
Job Duties include cleaning and sanitizing kennels, performing health checks, feeding and watering throughout the day, cleaning up pet waste, performing enrichment activities such as playtimes, walks, stroller rides, and taking pictures of our clients pets. The successful candidate must also possess the following qualifications:
· Demonstrate compassion and share a sincere love for animals

· Excellent communication and client service skills

· Be dependable
· Troubleshooting skills
· Ability to bend, stoop and stand for long periods of time.
· Ability to lift at least 40 lbs. and handle 100 lbs. plus dogs.
EMPLOYEES SHOULD HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING OF SMARTPHONE USE IN ORDER TO PROVIDE QUALITY PICTURES OF OUR CLIENTS PETS.
