Job Summary
Provide office support and assistance in the development and implementation of Student Life programs.
Essential Duties
General office duties for Student Life including ID machine, phones, counter questions and support.
Assist with programs provided by the office including things like event decorating, sign-in, and data input.
Assist with purchasing supplies for Student Life programming.
Coordinate logistics and respond to emails regarding room reservations.
Assist with social media marketing and budget tracking.
Assist with special events such as Paint The Zoo Blue and Commencement.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Must maintain CPR and First Aid certifications.
One year experience in customer support.
Require demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills and computer skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft office and flier creation software.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Must be able to position self to decorate spaces, move tables and chairs, set up refreshments, etc..
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for at least one hour at an event.
Ability to work outside if event is scheduled there.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in working with all populations in a community college setting.
Bilingual preferred.
