Production Planner MD

The primary role of the Production Planner is to ensure a smooth and efficient manufacturing process by scheduling production runs. 

Primary Responsibilities:

The duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:

• Develop and review production plan with the management team.
• Coordinate and schedule production activities on all available production lines. 
• Meet production goals and demands and operate within budget.
• Revise production schedules when required due to order changes, material shortages, and capacity constraints while collaborating with management.
• Coordinate with the Warehouse and Purchasing departments to ensure real time inventory for upcoming production runs.
• Work closely with the Quality Manager to comply with regulatory and 3^rd party auditing agencies. 
• Work with the facility manager to develop process improvements and recommend or procure new or replacement machinery.   
• Maintain, manage and strive to improve yield and production metrics.
• Follow safety guidelines, company standards and Good Manufacturing Practices.

To be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements:

• Three to five years of experience scheduling production
• Advanced skills in MS Office
• Excellent organizational and scheduling capabilities
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Problem-solving skills
• High School Diploma; degree in a technical, engineering or relevant field will be an advantage
• Knowledge of HACCP and SQF preferred

Salary : $67,575 - $91,425
