Summary
This position reports directly to the Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Event Management and is responsible for the comprehensive oversight and daily management of the Tulane Goldring Tennis Center, a state-of-the-art tennis and pickleball complex scheduled to open in Spring 2026. The role serves as the primary point of contact for all public use of the facility and coordinates the operational needs of Tulane’s Men’s and Women’s Tennis programs. The incumbent oversees part-time staff and manages all aspects of public and institutional usage, including scheduling, reservations, check-in systems, website maintenance, and customer service. This position is responsible for the full scope of facility operations, including maintenance, landscaping, custodial services, audio-visual systems, and overall guest experience. Additionally, the role supports the execution of intercollegiate tennis matches and tournaments, as assigned, and assists with both minor and major capital improvements and facility enhancements.
Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Ensures that all Department of Athletics and University related activities operate in full compliance with university, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. Attends and participates in scheduled compliance seminars and complies with all the Athletic Department’s efforts to monitor compliance with NCAA regulations. Seeks interpretations from the compliance staff before acting when necessary. Reports potential rules violations immediately. Completes required compliance paperwork in a timely and efficient manner. Monitors all of their areas and/or programs activities closely to maintain compliance with applicable rules and regulations.

Required Education And/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 3 years of facility and event management experience
- Minimum of 3 year experience in the supervision of staff
- Current certifications in CPR and First Aid
- Previous experience in collegiate athletics or professional sports
