Instructional Specialist - CTE (Effective 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR)

SUMMARY

Instruct students in Construction, Auto, Welding, or HVAC related to TUSD curriculum.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Construction Instruction Specialist

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Two (2) years of experience in specific trade area Construction
• Associate’s (or higher) degree OR Completion of an AZ Department of Education-approved Academic Assessment Test OR 60 Semester-Hour credits at an institute of higher learning (Copy of diploma, transcripts or test results must be submitted at time of hire).
• Copy of diploma, transcripts or test results must be submitted at time of hire. Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (For All)

• Experience as a teacher aide.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

COMMENTS

Salary Range $18.57 to $21.56

Effective: 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR

Classification: White Collar

FTE: 1.0 – 8 hours per day

Work Calendar: 9.0 month
