HRIS Product ManagerWork Location: Los Angeles, CA (100% Remote: PST or CST ONLY)Assignment Type: Direct HireSalary Range: $143,000 – $160,000 (Exempt) Position SummaryThe Product Manager, Human Capital and Time Management Applications, serves as the strategic liaison between IT and Human Resources, ensuring HR technology solutions align with organizational goals. This role oversees the full lifecycle of HR applications, including Workday, Kronos, and HealthStream, ensuring efficient operations, continuous improvement, and high-value service delivery. Reporting to the Director of Human Capital and Time Management Applications, the Product Manager combines technical expertise and business insight to support existing systems, lead major initiatives, and drive innovation within the HR technology landscape. Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the build, quality, and delivery of digital application solutions; contribute new ideas based on partner feedback.Manage and plan all digital and analytics application development activities to ensure objectives are met.Recommend and evaluate technical solutions for digital applications and integrations across the enterprise.Serve as a leader and advocate for analytics and application product offerings, ensuring alignment with USC information systems architecture, policies, and standards.Ensure appropriate engagement and oversight from clinical, business, research, and digital application stakeholders.Lead teams of developers, analysts, engineers, and integration specialists; mentor staff to support professional development.Promote optimal use of digital applications and enterprise integration; maintain relationships with leadership to support data-driven decision-making.Lead application selection processes, including RFP development in collaboration with procurement.Contribute to the Information Services Strategic Plan with a focus on digital applications and integration.Present to large groups as needed.Partner with the PMO to support organizational projects, benchmarking, planning, and financial modeling.Oversee technical staff to ensure high-quality application builds. Skills RequiredExpertise with Workday, HealthStream, and Kronos.Strong project management and team leadership capabilities.Effective business relationship management and stakeholder communication.Advanced requirements gathering and analytical skills.Strong understanding of data integrity and service delivery.Knowledge of ITIL framework and software development lifecycles.Strategic planning and problem-solving abilities.Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new applications.Experience with identity management systems and compliance requirements. Education & Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of experience working in a healthcare setting.Minimum 5 years of IT experience focused on configuring and supporting HRIS systems, with strong knowledge of HR processes and data management.Experience implementing, re-engineering, or redesigning:Scheduling and timekeeping systemsCredential tracking and managementIdentity management solutions for employees and non-employeesAt least 3 years of experience managing leadership-level business relationships and leading application support or project teams.Demonstrated project management expertise, including planning, execution, oversight, and familiarity with ITIL frameworks and software delivery methodologies.Experience in Agile project management methodologies.Experience presenting to large groups.
