The Associate Attorney will handle a docket of probate and estate planning matters. This role requires courtroom advocacy, strong legal writing, client management, and collaboration with senior attorneys and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in probate and estate planning matters, from intake through final disposition.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and case analysis to develop strategies.
- Attend and advocate at hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
- Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients.
- Ensure accurate documentation of case files and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Texas.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in family law and/or civil litigation preferred (strong candidates with less experience will be considered).
- Exceptional research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage a full caseload.
