Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Commercial Credit Analyst II to support underwriting and credit analysis for commercial real estate (CRE), multifamily, and commercial/business loans within a banking environment. This role involves evaluating financial risk, reviewing loan documentation, preparing credit recommendations, and collaborating with lending and credit teams to support informed lending decisions.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite and analyze CRE, multifamily, and commercial loan transactions
• Review financial statements, tax returns, appraisals, rent rolls, and supporting documents
• Prepare Credit Approval Memorandums (CAMs) and cash flow/DSCR analysis
• Identify risk factors and ensure compliance with credit policies and underwriting standards
• Present recommendations to senior credit leadership
• Communicate with loan officers and clients regarding documentation and transaction status
• Support quality control and additional underwriting projects as needed

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in commercial banking, underwriting, or credit analysis
• Experience with CRE, multifamily, or commercial lending preferred
• Strong financial analysis and credit risk assessment skills
• Ability to interpret financial statements, tax returns, and cash flow reports
• Bilingual English/Spanish required
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field preferred
