DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a detail-oriented BIM Designer with experience supporting Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire Protection (MEP/FP) systems for building projects. This role is ideal for a technically strong professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality design coordination through Building Information Modeling (BIM).
The BIM Designer will play a key role in developing coordinated models, improving design workflows, and ensuring system integration across disciplines. This position requires a proactive mindset, strong technical capabilities, and the ability to contribute to efficient and accurate project execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and manage BIM models for Mechanical, Electrical, and Fire Protection systems
- Set up and maintain BIM templates, standards, and workflows
- Perform clash detection and coordination across multiple disciplines
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve conflicts and optimize system layouts
- Produce accurate drawings and model-based deliverables
- Ensure adherence to project standards, codes, and best practices
- Support continuous improvement of BIM processes and design efficiency
- Assist with other project-related tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in BIM design supporting MEP and Fire Protection systems
- Proficiency in BIM software (e.g., Revit or similar platforms)
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary coordination and design workflows
- Experience with clash detection tools and processes
- Ability to set up templates and maintain BIM standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
