Sushi Chefs & Line Cooks — Now Hiring
We are looking for motivated, dependable, and team-oriented individuals to join our kitchen team as Sushi Chefs and Line Cooks.
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED — WE WILL TRAIN YOU ON SITE!
Whether you have professional kitchen experience or are completely new to the restaurant industry, we are willing to train the right people. We’ll provide hands-on, on-site training to help you learn the skills needed to succeed in the position.
We’re looking for individuals who take pride in preparing great food, work well in a fast-paced environment, and understand the importance of teamwork, cleanliness, and creating great guest experiences.
Compensation: $14–$20 per hour base, plus tips
Sushi Chef Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of sushi dishes, including maki rolls, nigiri, and sashimi
- Prepare sushi rice and maintain proper food preparation standards
- Set up and maintain sushi station ingredients and equipment
- Prepare ingredients efficiently and consistently
- Work with servers to accommodate guest requests and dietary restrictions
- Maintain proper food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
- Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs
- Keep the sushi station organized and clean throughout each shift
