Overview

Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development, contributing innovative ideas to enhance the dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
- Support dietary aides in preparing meals that meet specific dietary requirements when necessary.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety protocols.

- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Cooks to prepare meals during our dining hours
- Maintain accurate food inventories
- Properly store food items at appropriate temperatures
- Rotate stock items as per established procedures
- Restock kitchen for subsequent shifts
- Ensure that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitized at the end of your shift
