🔍 Job Overview
We are seeking a Production Planner / Supply Chain Site Coordinator to support External Manufacturing operations. This role will act as a critical link between internal planning teams and Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs), ensuring smooth coordination of supply, demand, and production activities.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in supply chain planning, ERP systems, and cross-functional coordination, preferably within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate supply chain activities between internal planning teams and CMOs
- Ensure timely execution and delivery of purchase orders
- Monitor production schedules to meet customer demand
- Track and manage open orders, backorders, and supply exceptions
- Communicate supply and demand updates across stakeholders
- Support forecasting and long-range planning activities
- Act as a point of contact for supply, logistics, and scheduling inquiries
- Manage supply disruptions, shortages, and allocation scenarios
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Customer Service, Logistics, and Planning
- Support reporting, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
✅ Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree required (Bachelor’s preferred)
- 4–5 years of experience in supply chain, production planning, or manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of:
- MRP / MPS
- Forecasting & inventory management
- Logistics / distribution processes
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
