Overview
Leading pharmaceutical company looking for an experienced Supply Chain Site Coordinator. Ideal candidates should have Associate degree but Bachelor's Degree Preferred and 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical / consumer products industry in a supply chain or manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities between the Planning organization and the Contract Manufacturing organization (CMO) to ensure supply chain efficiency.
- Support the on-time delivery of Purchase Orders from CMO’s, interacting with Market Supply Planning, Customer Service, CMO Site Planning, and Virtual Plant Team (VPT).
- Act as the main point-of-contact for internal and external customers regarding product inquiries, shipments, and scheduling activities.
- Ensure purchase orders are placed timely according to contractual requirements and meet product lead-times.
- Review and update open order reports, track order exceptions, and communicate unresolved issues to the Supply Chain Manager.
- Support synchronization of orders to support campaign timing and consumption of tolled material.
- Implement standard communication processes for open order reporting and shipping plan updates from CMO to customers.
- Proactively support CMO and customer requests related to supply, demand, logistics, artwork changes, and ship-on-test requests.
- Coordinate product reworks/redress at CMO site as required.
- Provide input into performance metrics such as On-time delivery, Backorders, and Anticipated Backorders.
- Execute and support priority planning through review of BO/ABO information and customer inventory levels.
- Provide monthly forecasts to CMO for long-range planning requirements.
- Support and lead projects as needed, escalating issues to the Supply Chain Manager.
Requirements
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the pharmaceutical or consumer products industry within supply chain or manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of Master Scheduling, Forecasting, Customer Service, Logistics, Distribution, and Inventory Management.
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially advanced MS Excel skills (3-5 years).
- Strong communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines, manage workload, and maintain high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in a dynamic work environment and project management skills are a plus.
