Change Management Lead – Marketing Transformation
San Francisco or Pleasanton, CA
Hybrid – onsite about once per week (flexible)
What is this role about?
This role is focused on helping people adapt to change as the company transforms how it does marketing.
The company is moving from multiple marketing tools to one main platform. This role ensures marketing teams understand the change, are prepared for it, and successfully adopt new tools and processes.
This is not a technical role.
It is about people, communication, and process change.
What will you do?
- Lead all change management activities for a marketing transformation project
- Act as the main point person for change across the organization
- Work closely with project managers, product managers, and vendors
- Assess how ready teams are for change
- Create and manage:
- Communication plans
- Stakeholder engagement plans
- Adoption and change strategies
- Support training efforts (a separate training resource will assist)
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership
- Help marketing teams successfully adopt new tools and ways of working
Must Have
- 4–5 years of change management experience
- Experience working with or supporting marketing teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience leading end‑to‑end change initiatives
- Ability to focus on the people and process side of transformation
- Must be Bay Area–based
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Consulting background (Accenture, Deloitte)
- Retail or apparel experience
- Familiarity with marketing tools like:
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Zeta / ZTA
- Amperity
- Change Management certification
