Reference Test Clerk - Full Time

Role: Reference Test Clerk

Responsibilities Include

• Preparing laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
• Researching, troubleshooting, and resolving customer and specimen issues
• Sending test requests and releasing results
• Assisting clients with specimen inquiries
• Processing specimens for transfer to other facilities
• Supporting various laboratory areas with sample sorting, racking, and retrieval
• Maintaining accurate record logs and a clean, safe work environment
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: prior lab experience, particularly in clinical or medical laboratories
  
  

Skills And Attributes

• Comfortable handling biological specimens and accurately identifying samples
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Well-organized with high attention to detail
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and pass a color blindness test
  
  

Additional information: Compensation ranges from $18.88-$22.22 plus third shift differential. Successful candidates must meet the specified qualifications and experience.
