Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble pizza ingredients according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools safely and efficiently
- Ensure all food handling and food safety sanitizing procedures are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza flavors or toppings based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
- Maintain high-volume production standards during peak hours, ensuring timely delivery of freshly made pizzas
- Adhere to recipe guidelines meticulously to ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
- Support overall food preparation activities, including ingredient portioning, dough stretching, and topping placement
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation or food service, particularly in pizza making or similar culinary roles
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures in a commercial kitchen setting
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely
- Experience with food industry standards such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in high-volume production environments while maintaining attention to detail
