What You'll Do
- Partner with Sales representatives to conduct customer site surveys and assess security and life safety requirements.
- Develop system designs that align customer objectives with available technologies and project budgets.
- Create detailed project estimates, including material, labor, and subcontractor costs.
- Prepare professional proposals with clearly defined pricing and scope of work.
- Support bid preparation, takeoff estimation, and subcontractor coordination.
- Review blueprints, drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure accurate system design.
- Enter and maintain customer and project information within CRM and WIP systems.
- Assist in developing competitive solutions that support business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with sales, project management, and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition from proposal to project execution.
- Provide technical expertise and product knowledge throughout the sales process.
What You'll Bring
Technical Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Technical certifications related to security, access control, video surveillance, or fire alarm systems preferred.
- Two to five years of hands-on experience installing, servicing, designing, or supporting security and fire alarm systems preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Adobe software.
- Strong knowledge of card access, video surveillance, fire alarm, and integrated security technologies.
- Ability to read blueprints, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
- OSHA 10 certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
