Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and adjust production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and capacity constraints
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure schedules are achievable and aligned with operational goals
- Monitor work-in-progress, identify bottlenecks, and recommend adjustments as needed
- Communicate schedule changes to all relevant departments in a timely and clear manner
- Collaborate with procurement to ensure material availability and resolve shortages
- Track performance metrics such as on-time delivery, throughput, and schedule adherence
- Assist with planning improvements, process optimization, and production forecasting
- Maintain accurate system data, including manufacturing orders, lead times, and capacity planning.
- Previous experience in production scheduling, manufacturing planning, or related operations roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and scheduling tools. (Costpoint and Aegis Factory Logix are a plus.)
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial environments
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Advanced proficiency with Excel, Project, or data analysis tools
