Position: Data & Business Intelligence Analyst
Location: Sacramento County, CA
Type: [Contract / Full-Time]
Work Mode: Onsite (with possible limited remote flexibility after Probation period)
Key Skills & Expertise:
Technical & Software Skills
- Database Management: SQL Server (relationships, indexes, keys, backend data operations), Microsoft Access migration/modernization.
- Data Integration: APIs, automated data feeds, cleaning/normalization of large datasets.
- Business Intelligence & Reporting: Power BI (dashboards, KPIs, automation), TIC (Toad Intelligence Central), Advanced Excel (PivotTables, Macros, DB connections).
- Forms & Data Collection Tools: Microsoft Forms, Power Apps, Adobe Forms, integration with SQL/Power BI.
- Process Automation: Power Automate or similar workflow automation tools.
Analytical & Project Skills
- Requirements gathering & functional documentation.
- Business process improvement & automation.
- Dashboard design, KPIs, metrics development.
- Troubleshooting data/system performance issues.
Communication & Collaboration Skills
- Work across multiple departments (Ops, IT, Finance, TSA, Vendors, etc.).
- Translate technical solutions into user-friendly explanations.
- Coordinate with consultants/vendors for implementations.
Security & Compliance
- Knowledge of sensitive/restricted data handling (airport/TSA-related).
