We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to support its operations, data management, and business intelligence initiatives. This role combines technical expertise, analytical skills, and communication abilities to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
Technical & Software Skills
Database & Data Management
- SQL Server: Manage, migrate, and update SQL databases, including creating relationships, indexes, keys, and handling backend data operations.
- Microsoft Access: Understand and update legacy Access databases (front-end forms and back-end tables); migrate Access data to SQL or modern platforms.
- Data Integration / APIs: Connect multiple systems via APIs and automated data feeds.
- Data Cleaning & Transformation: Handle large datasets, remove duplicates, normalize data, and integrate data across multiple systems.
- Power BI: Build dashboards, KPIs, automated reports, filtering/slicers, drill-through, and use service accounts/gateways.
- TIC (Toad Intelligence Central): Build scheduled and parameterized reports.
- Excel / Advanced Excel: PivotTables, formulas, macros/VBA, and connecting to external databases for reporting.
- Microsoft Forms & Power Apps / Canvas: Design interactive forms, collect data from multiple users, handle attachments, and integrate with SQL/Power BI.
- Adobe Forms (Optional): Experience replacing Wufoo forms.
- Process Automation: Use Power Automate or equivalent to automate data flows from forms to databases or dashboards.
- Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Understand user needs, document workflows, and create functional specifications.
- Business Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in manual processes and design automated, streamlined solutions.
- Dashboard & Metrics Design: Translate operational needs into actionable KPIs, metrics, and visualizations.
- Problem-Solving / Troubleshooting: Debug slow or failing systems and track data issues across multiple sources.
- Collaborate with multiple departments including Operations, Accounting, Properties, TSA, Concessions, CMMS, Airside, IT, and external vendors.
- Explain technical solutions in non-technical language to end-users.
- Coordinate with external consultants and vendors for system implementation.
- Understand restricted or sensitive data handling, including airport security and TSA-related information.
- Scripting / Automation: Python, PowerShell, or similar for automating data processes.
- Project Management Experience: Experience with Jira or other ticketing systems for tracking implementation tasks.
- Change Management / Training: Ability to train staff on new systems and ensure adoption.
- Attention to Detail: Manage multiple reports, dashboards, and manual processes accurately and efficiently.
