Trustpoint.One is recruiting a Temporary Legal Operations Specialist who is tech savvy, organized and has a team-oriented approach. This is a temporary, hybrid position. The ideal candidate for the Legal Operations Specialist role will possess a solid foundation in billing, legal processes and financial reporting, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business. Must have at least 2 years of experience in legal operations or financial management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing budgets, administering billing software and ensuring compliance with billing guidelines. Time spent working in an in-house legal department is a plus.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in legal billing software, database management, Excel and financial reporting tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven leadership and team coordination skills.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Manage litigation budgets, forecasts, and accruals.
- Administer legal billing software, process invoices, onboard vendors, prepare financial reports.
- Interact with company departments including finance and accounting and colleagues to streamline processes and procedures.
NOTE:
The hourly rate will be determined based on candidate’s industry knowledge and experience.
