Trustpoint is excited to partner with a legal services organization in their search for a Legal Intake Client Sign-Up Specialist. This direct hire role is onsite in Newark, NJ, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with parking or commuter benefit reimbursement provided. The Legal Intake Specialist will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking legal representation, managing inbound inquiries via phone, email, web form, or live chat, and guiding prospective clients through the intake and retainer agreement sign-up process.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver professional and empathetic service during initial client interactions
- Initiate and complete the intake process and assist clients with signing retainer agreements
- Collect detailed and accurate information to qualify claims and confirm eligibility
- Maintain high data accuracy when entering and managing client and claim information
- Explain next steps after intake and transition clients to case managers, paralegals, and attorneys
- Approach every interaction with urgency, attention to detail, and service excellence
Qualifications:
- Sales or customer service experience, with the ability to guide clients through retainer sign-up
- Professional telephone etiquette and strong verbal communication skills
- Excellent written communication, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff
- Adaptability and comfort in a dynamic, high-volume setting
- Strong emotional intelligence, including empathy and situational awareness
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a sales or sign-up center
- Contact center or call center experience
- Law firm or legal industry background
- Insurance, healthcare, or medical administration experience
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce), VoIP platforms, and electronic signature tools
- College degree
- Bilingual abilities a plus (Spanish preferred)

Salary : $52,500 - $75,000
