Job Summary
The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and maintaining the direct care staff scheduling for TAHC Home Care clients and staff.
Duties
- Understands and adheres to established TAHC Home Care policies and procedures.
- Develops, implements, and adjusts scheduling procedures to optimize agency, caregiver, and client needs.
- Creates and maintains up-to-date staff schedules via Google Spreadsheets, IGEA platform and other systems.
- Provides scheduling of staff for call outs, sick leave, vacation, long-term leave.
- Contacts care providers and clients regarding day-to-day changes.
- Maintains call–off report, monitoring caregiver call-offs and reasons.
- Identifies caregiver team challenges and communicates problem and proposed solutions to the Director of Nursing.
- Schedules in advance, Reauthorization Nursing visits in IGEA within 15 days from the end of each 60-day IGEA certification period.
- Monitors caregiver hours worked by week and minimizes scheduling shifts that put caregivers into Overtime pay.
- H.S. Diploma or GED.
- Prior scheduling experience preferred.
- Home Care experience required.
- Computer skills including but not limited to MS Office Suite, Google Office Suite and Scheduling program.
- Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Self-Starter able to work effectively and efficiently in a remote capacity.
- Brings a proactive, goal-driven focus to the role, identifying issues and solutions as early as possible to scale scheduling procedures for agency growth.
- Hybrid schedule with in-office requirements in Las Vegas, NV.
