What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wellness and Lifestyle Registered Nurse position at Trusted Ally Home Care?
About Us: Trusted Ally Home Care (TAHC) is a growing multi-state home care agency that specializes in providing nursing and home health aide services to nuclear-exposed employees in the comfort of their homes. TAHC has been serving families and loved ones since 2010. After witnessing the impact that quality home care services brought to her great-grandfather's life, our co-founder Candace Honeywell, was determined to bring the same level of care to everyone we serve. Together, with co-founder Alexander Page, they are committed to driving positive change in home health care.
Core Values
The Healthgevity RN is a trained, wellness-focused Registered Nurse who delivers Trusted Ally Home Care’s Healthgevity Program directly in the patient’s home. This role transforms traditional skilled nursing visits into lifestyle-based, preventive wellness sessions tailored to the unique needs of former nuclear workers under the DOL-EEOICPA program. The Healthgevity RN conducts monthly theme-based wellness sessions, reinforces home practice, and uses open or underutilized hours to implement the Healthgevity curriculum, maximizing patient engagement, improving whole-person wellbeing, and elevating the home health experience from transactional to transformational. This is a patient-facing role, designed to bring creativity, connection, and whole-person care into each home.
In addition to direct patient care, the Healthgevity RN will receive specialized training in integrative and holistic wellness principles, supporting development as an official integrative wellness coach within the Trusted Ally model. This training is delivered through a curated learning pathway that includes education and mentorship from industry experts in integrative nursing, lifestyle medicine, behavioral health, and whole-person wellness. Through exposure to nationally recognized thought leaders and evidence-informed practices, Healthgevity RNs expand their clinical perspective and coaching skill set in areas such as behavior change, mind-body practices, and motivational coaching. This professional development pathway allows Healthgevity RNs to grow as clinical leaders and wellness advocates, blending nursing expertise with expert-led coaching methodologies to support long-term vitality, autonomy, and quality of life for the patients they serve.
