Position Summary
The Quality Operations Technician plays a critical role in ensuring that TruPharmaRX's compounding operations consistently meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. By supporting quality management systems and regulatory compliance, you will directly contribute to TruPharmaRX's mission of providing safe, effective, and reliable compounded medications.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and applicable regulatory standards across all quality operations, including documentation, processes, and equipment, to maintain the highest quality and safety standards within a 503A and applicable 503B compounding environment.
- Assist with batch record reviews, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements, and resolve discrepancies to prevent production delays.
- Coordinate and perform routine inspections and testing of equipment, facilities, and controlled environments to ensure compliance with established standards and support timely corrective actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality trends and identifying opportunities for process optimization to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.
- Support training and development of staff on quality control procedures, ensuring team members are equipped to uphold rigorous standards, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices throughout all stages of production.
Physical Requirements
While performing the responsibilities of this position, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee frequently remains in a stationary position for extended periods and regularly uses hands and fingers to handle, access, input, and retrieve information using computers and other office productivity devices. The employee regularly moves throughout the pharmacy and facility and must be able to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

- Proficiency in quality management systems, documentation practices, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Working knowledge of laboratory equipment, environmental monitoring, and 503A and 503B compounding regulations.

Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in quality operations, quality control, or regulatory compliance within a pharmaceutical or healthcare environment; compounding pharmacy experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences, chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent experience and knowledge.
