Tax Supervisor

Our client in the Fox Valley area is looking for a Tax Supervisor. This client is looking for someone with 3 years of tax experience, who is flexible and has strong analytical capabilities.

The salary range for this role is $85k-110k.

The Tax Supervisor will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and manage all sales and tax related reporting and compliance.
• Provide compliance reporting, reconciliation of accounts and management of audits and tax use.
• Lead and manage all correspondence received and audits.
• Review and provide guidance on tax applicability on invoices.
• Coordinate outside accounting firms and tax related consultants as needed.
• Lead, train and mentor tax team members.
• Provide recommendations for internal process improvements.
• Ad hoc projects as needed.

The Tax Supervisor will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Associate’s degree in accounting or closely related field
• 3 years of tax experience
• preferred CPA Certification.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Must be flexible.
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
