Senior Operations Analyst (42017)
Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for a Senior Operations Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 2 years of related experience, strong interpersonal skills and open minded. The salary for range for this position is $100k-$105k bonus.
The Senior Operations Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support plant financial and operational performance by providing detailed analysis, reporting, and process support across manufacturing, inventory, and fiscal close activities.
- Run and analyze a variety of reports required for monthly fiscal close.
- Prepare and post monthly journal entries related to inventory and cost of goods sold.
- Complete monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
- Track and analyze manufacturing costs, including the financial impact of warranties on procured products.
- Maintain ownership of perpetual inventory processes for multiple entities.
- Maintain document controls, processes, and procedures to ensure SOX compliance.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
The Senior Operations Analyst will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or closely related field.
- 2 years of experience in operations, inventory or cost type of work.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
