Senior Accountant
Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid)
Our client in the construction space is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their growing team in Indianapolis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working cross-functionally, building processes, and having visibility into both operational and corporate-level reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations across multiple entities
- Support month-end close, financial reporting, and variance analysis
- Assist with parent company reporting and consolidations
- Partner with leadership on ad hoc reporting and analysis
- Support treasury functions (ACH/wires, reporting)
- Assist with audit preparation (interim and year-end)
- Identify and drive process improvements across accounting and operations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across the organization
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA (or in progress) preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- “Roll up your sleeves” mindset
- Construction accounting experience is a plus
- Strong ERP systems experience required, along with strong Excel skills
