What are the responsibilities and job description for the Collections Specialist position at Truity Partners?
Truity Partners is supporting a Milwaukee-based client with their search for a Collections Specialist. This is a temporary position, and is estimated to last 3 months in duration (through July 2026). Our client offers a hybrid work schedule, with regular first-shift hours. Target compensation is $25.00 - $29.00 per hour, with possible flexibility based on experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct B2B collections outreach following an established monthly process
- Communicate with customers regarding open invoices and payment status
- Research open invoices, payments, and credit notes
- Apply and settle credit notes in the ERP system
- Support settlements, refunds, and basic account research
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2 years of B2B accounts receivable or collections experience
- Comfortable communicating with customers regarding payments and billing
- ERP experience preferred
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently with training support
