Our client is an organization in the Kenosha area looking for an Accountant. This company is looking for someone with 3 years of accounting experience, strong analytic skills and highly organized.
The salary range for this role is $70k-90k.
The Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements for assigned properties
- Perform general ledger accounting, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Manage full-cycle accounting for multiple properties, including accruals and adjustments
- Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash activity
- Analyze variances between actuals and budget; provide explanations to management
- Assist with annual budgets and periodic forecasts for properties
- Work closely with property management teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Review and process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation for properties
- Support year-end close and assist with audit requests and documentation
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies
The Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- 3 years of accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience with ERP systems and Excel preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
