Our client is an organization in the Madison area looking for a Bookkeeper. This company is looking for someone with 5 years of bookkeeping experience, highly organized with a strong attention to detail.
The Bookkeeper will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate general ledger entries
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and other financial accounts on a regular basis
- Maintain and update financial records, spreadsheets, and accounting software
- Assist with payroll processing and related reporting
- Prepare financial reports such as profit & loss statements and balance sheets
- Support month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations
- Assist with audits and provide documentation as needed
The Bookkeeper will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associates degree preferred.
- 5 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
