Our client is an organization in the Fond du Lac County area that’s looking for an Accounts Payable Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 3 years of experience, detail-oriented, and an inquisitive mindset. This company offers flexibility, a collaborative team, and high visibility. This position is hybrid.
The salary for this position is $115K.
The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and oversee accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of invoices, payments, and related transactions.
- Manage cash flow activities, including cash forecasting, account analysis, and reconciliation of accounts payable and cash-related ledger accounts.
- Perform and review month-end close activities.
- Serve as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues, managing escalations, and maintaining effective communication across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements and adherence to internal controls and policies.
- Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and optimize financial operations.
- Lead, coach, and develop the accounts payable team and professional growth.
- Partner with finance leadership on strategic initiatives and special projects, supporting organizational objectives and continuous improvement efforts.
The Accounts Payable Manager will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
- 3 years of general accounting experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, results-oriented and process-driven with an impeccable attention to detail.
- Ability to foster a collaborative and proactive work environment emphasizing accuracy, attention to detail, innovation, and teamwork.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills to drive change with demonstrated ability to operate with a high level of autonomy.
- Knowledge of ERP systems with Oracle experience preferred.
