Truity Partners is assisting an established real estate organization in Kenosha, WI with their search for a Property Accountant. This is a career opportunity offering a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) and compensation of approximately $70,000–$80,000 based on experience and qualifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of residential properties
- Prepare monthly financial statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Review budget-to-actual variances and assist with budgeting and audits
- Review AP, AR, and cash management activities
- Partner with Property Management to ensure accurate financial reporting and resolve accounting issues
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years of accounting experience
- Property accounting or real estate experience preferred; strong accountants eager to learn the industry will also be considered
- Strong Excel, analytical, and communication skills
