Our New York Workers' Compensation Group is expanding and seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Associate Attorney to join a growing team handling sophisticated New York workers' compensation matters. This role is ideal for a motivated workers' compensation attorney who values remote flexibility client relationships and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis on workers' compensation and related legal issues
- Draft pleadings motions briefs and agreements with accuracy and efficiency
- Represent clients in hearings depositions mediations conferences motion practice and trial as needed
- Manage an assigned caseload and client relationships while collaborating with senior attorneys on complex matters
Qualifications
- JD from an ABA-approved law school with an active New York license in good standing (New Jersey Bar admission a plus)
- Workers' compensation experience preferred
- Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 ProLaw Excel and electronic document management software preferred
