The Lancaster office is expanding and seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Paralegal to join a growing team handling sophisticated workers’ compensation defense matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who values independent case ownership, substantive legal work and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage discovery demands and responses with accuracy and efficiency
- Obtain medical records and maintain productive working relationships with medical providers
- Coordinate with experts by scheduling independent medical examinations and managing inspections and other expert discovery
- Support attorneys with case management tasks while meeting deadlines in a high-volume environment
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of workers’ compensation paralegal experience required
- High school diploma or GED required with college degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel and e-document management software preferred
- Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment while working as a self-motivated independent thinker and team member
