Chief Operating Officer – Highly Engineered Manufacturing – Private Equity
Our client is a successful and growing middle-market manufacturer of highly engineered component products designed for blue chip OEMs in a variety of market segments. This custom engineered manufacturing business with aggressive long term growth plans operates multiple facilities and is experiencing significant growth through both acquisitive and organic means.
We require a true leader who can drive efficiencies and consistent results across all levels of the organization, establishing KPIs and metrics to support strategic decision making. The COO will have experience supporting a product design, engineering and manufacturing environment, with oversight of a talented engineering department and dynamic multi-site production operations team.
You will have extensive experience in process implementation and performance improvement in a multi-location, middle-market manufacturing environment with deep expertise in operations, engineering, procurement and product development processes. You will ideally have spent time early career in large corporate environments where you have worked on the introduction of process improvement initiatives such as Lean/Six Sigma and have ideally built process and “best practices” from the ground up in mid-sized organizations as well. This role requires an “in the trenches” leader with a high energy, proactive approach who is a change driver and an inspiring motivator for the team.
This position offers an attractive base compensation, bonus incentive program and equity participation.
