FleetUp is looking for a Firmware & Software tester to join our growing team. As a Firmware & Software tester , you will:
- Create and Maintain Device Lab for testing different devices, firmwares and scenarios
- Assist Team with your Experience in Testing Device Firmwares
- Assist Team with your Experience in testing Web Applications
- Assist Team with your Experience in testing Mobile Applications
- Device Testing for Data Accuracy, Harsh Conditions, Vehicle compatibility etc
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Good to Have : Experience with AWS Services and applications using them
- Understands software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, test case development, test case deployment and execution, test data, defect tracking, and test automation; actively participates in process improvements
- Self Driven testing including Functional Testing, Data Validation, Regression Testing and User Acceptance Testing.
- Provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
- Monitor debugging process results
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
- Recognizes issues (e.g. with requirements, design, implementation, etc.) and works with appropriate resources to address and resolve
- Seeks and understands the big picture/business cases behind individual requirements
Knowledge/Skill Requirements:
- 2 years in a QA or Testing role
- Experience in Software and Firmware Testing
- Candidate should possess own vehicle. Candidate will be required to do drive testing with devices connected to car.
