Litigation Associate Attorney

Trueline’s client, a respected full-service law firm based in Long Beach, CA, is seeking a Litigation Associate to join their dynamic and collaborative litigation team.

What You'll Do as the Litigation Associate:

  Manage all phases of litigation including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial prep across a diverse docket—especially personal injury and insurance defense.

  Conduct in-depth legal research and draft persuasive pleadings, motions, and discovery-related documents.

  
  
  
• 
  

  Prepare and defend clients in depositions; take fact and expert witness depositions with strategic focus.

  
  
  
• 
  

  Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on trial prep, site investigations, and evidentiary hearings.

  
  
  
  
  

  Must-Haves as the Litigation Associate:

  
  
  
  
  
  • 
    

    Active California Bar license, in good standing.

    Minimum 3 years of litigation experience, ideally including insurance defense or personal injury matters.

    Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.

    Proficient in legal research tools and case management platforms (e.g., NetDocuments, Centerbase).

    Ability to prioritize multiple matters independently while remaining a strong team player.
