This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing projects from demolition through completion, offering strong pay, consistent year-round work, and a clear path into senior field leadership.
What You'll Do as the Lead Carpenter:
- Lead residential remodeling projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and efficiency
- Supervise, mentor, and develop carpenters and apprentices on-site
- Coordinate subcontractors and manage daily job site activity
- Perform skilled carpentry work including framing, finish work, cabinetry, and installations
- Maintain job site safety, cleanliness, and organization
- Communicate regularly with project managers and clients to keep projects on track
- Manage schedules and workflow to ensure timely project delivery
Must-Haves as the Lead Carpenter:
- 10 years of residential carpentry experience
- Proven experience leading crews on remodeling or renovation projects
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and best practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Solid leadership and communication skills
- Valid driver's license
