Trueline Talent on behalf of a confidential engineering and technology services firm is seeking a Bilingual Employee Relations Specialist to support construction operations with a focus on employee relations, conflict resolution, and HR compliance. This role is field based with frequent travel to active job sites and interaction with employees and supervisors to enhance workplace engagement and performance.
What You Will Do as the Bilingual Employee Relations Specialist:
Serve as a primary contact for employees on construction sites to address questions, concerns, and conflicts
Partner with site supervisors to investigate complaints, provide coaching, and recommend corrective actions
Support performance management processes and facilitate new hire orientation and training as needed
Maintain knowledge of applicable labor laws and guide supervisors on compliant practices
Conduct exit interviews and contribute ideas for retention improvements
Ensure site compliance with HR requirements including posting labor law notices
Escalate complex issues to corporate HR when appropriate
Must Haves as the Bilingual Employee Relations Specialist:
At least 2 years of experience in employee relations or a closely related HR field, preferably in construction or engineering environments
Bachelor degree in human resources, business, or related field
Fluent in English and Spanish
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational ability and attention to detail
Ability to travel extensively to job sites (target of 75 percent travel)
Professional judgment and ability to handle confidential information
Nice to Haves as the Bilingual Employee Relations Specialist:
Experience with onsite HR support across multiple locations
Familiarity with performance review facilitation
Prior exposure to payroll or benefits communication processes
