What You'll Do as the Construction Project Manager:
- Lead commercial construction and renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
- Review and process submittals, RFIs, permits, and project documentation
- Coordinate equipment procurement, deliveries, and installation sequencing
- Monitor project performance, financials, and milestone completion
- Conduct site visits to verify quality, safety, and adherence to plans and specifications
- Support project startup, commissioning, punch list completion, and closeout activities
- Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and problem solving
Must-Haves as the Construction Project Manager:
- Experience managing commercial construction projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Experience with project scheduling, procurement, and budget management
- Strong subcontractor coordination experience
- Experience managing submittals and project documentation
- Professional communication and client-facing skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Mechanical aptitude and understanding of commercial construction processes
Nice-to-Haves as the Construction Project Manager:
- Commercial HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, piping, or aquatics project management experience
- Experience with Procore and/or Bluebeam
- Knowledge of commercial mechanical systems
- Experience with commissioning or startup activities
- Commercial pool construction or renovation experience
- Controls or automation system exposure
