Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
- Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, ensuring proper handling of cash handling procedures
- Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including food preparation details, wine knowledge, and spirits experience
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food handling procedures
- Assist with setting up dining areas, refilling stations, and cleaning tables to uphold cleanliness standards
- Engage with guests to foster positive relations and handle any special requests or concerns professionally
Qualifications
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques (spirits experience is a plus)
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs confidently
- Experience working in fine dining or nightclub settings is advantageous but not required
- Commitment to food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
