The Medical Scheduling Manager is responsible for organizing and directing the daily activities related to the call center's operation.
Primary Functions
- Acting as an information source and answering the Medical Schedulers' questions, assigning tasks, following up, and giving instructions as needed.
- Attending to, following up, and resolving customer complaints and questions.
- Ensuring that the team members acquire the appropriate support and training to apply the best skills and knowledge on the job.
- Carrying out performance measurement, monitoring, and evaluation of all Medical Schedulers to improve efficiency.
- Compiling and maintaining lists of on-call and key schedules and personnel and ensuring that the Medical Schedulers can use all lists as required.
- Updating databases, organizing activities related to maintenance and repair of equipment, ordering supplies and materials.
- Preparing and directing schedules, monitoring attendance of Medical Schedulers; scheduling breaks and shifts as necessary.
- Communicating solutions, successes, and opportunities to the Director of Operations.
- Practicing and ensuring compliance with all True Health's policies and procedures.
- Other responsibilities as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3 years telephone or customer service experience minimum
- 1 year supervisory experience required
- Typing/keyboarding
- 10 key adding machine
- Ability to work under pressure
- Computer literacy
- Ability to work well with people
- Bilingual a plus (English / Spanish)
- Reports to the Director of Operations
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to view a computer screen for extended periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions for extended periods of time
- Ability to inspire and support people
