PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Reports to the Plant Manager. To maintain and sustain 5S gains in the facility Position requires compliance with the Technology Control Plan and the Federal Export Control Policy established for the Corporation.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
To implement all 5S activities as directed by plant leadership. Vacuum, sweep, scrub, mop, wipe, polish, wash, paint and otherwise clean all factory and office spaces and restrooms as instructed. Items to be cleaned include but are not limited to concrete, tile, and carpeted floors, ceilings, walls, windows, fixtures, mirrors, desk, tables, production equipment, and chairs. Empty all trash containers and dispose of refuse if directed. Fill all dispensers and containers with soap, paper, and sanitary products if directed. Empty all recycle containers into the central collection area if directed. May also be called upon to assist maintenance with repairs as directed. May also be called upon to assist with production as directed.
Operators in this position must be able to sit and/or stand all day (up to 10 hours). Manually lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally (with assistance, mechanical, or second person) with frequent lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. Rotate to various assignments involving various working conditions within their job descriptions. Perform high and low repetition jobs, perform all aspects of the job, perform fine manipulation, perform accurate visual inspection, ordinary frequent mental and visual effort required. Work through a range of motions from ground level up to and including above shoulder height, and bend and twist at the waist. Responsible to identify and communicate corrective actions. Run compactor/bailer/floor scrubber if required. Operator will be required to operate a fork truck, man lift, power tools, company vehicle including box truck.

PREFERRED / SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school graduate or general equivalency diploma. Good verbal and interpersonal skills necessary. Computer knowledge necessary.
SPECIFIC SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE WITH SOFTWARE, EQUIPMENT, ETC.
Candidates must have a strong work ethic and ability to follow directions as communicated. Must be able to work with limited supervision, be a self-starter and promote an eagerness to learn. Strong communications skills to detail work activities completed and issues that need addressed by plant leadership.
SUPERVISION REQUIRED
Position will report to plant management.
