What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Technician position at Tru-Flex LLC?
PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Perform and signoff on final inspection of finished product and document per procedures.
- Perform first article inspection for all manufacturing areas as needed and document per procedures.
- Perform inspection of nonconforming material and disposition as needed per procedures.
- Inspect all incoming material and documents.
- Perform process and product audits as assigned by the management team.
- Understand and implement customer packaging requirements per Customer Supplier Manuals.
- Inspect outgoing parts and material.
- Assist cells with packaging requirements (i.e. providing proper labels, boxes, etc.) -DELETE
- May serve as the back-up to the shipping coordinator. - DELETE
- Track and coordinate production order priority for packaging and shipping. -DELETE
- Track finished goods to keep inventory rotated and kept to a minimum level. -DELETE
- Assist with any other manufacturing demand as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
- 2 years of previous experience in quality and/or manufacturing environment with an understanding of production procedures.
- GD&T knowledge/understanding.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proficient computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Auditing skills desired.
- Ability to read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product.
- Ability to use tape measure, calipers, and other measuring devices.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively communicate written and oral communications.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.
- Must be self-motivated.
- Must be willing to learn new skills and participate in training if needed.
